Touchscreen is een beetje te gevoelig af en toe.
Na de xcover 4 en 5 heb ik nu de xcover 7 aangeschaft. Deze keuze is op basis van heel goede ervaringen met de eerdere modellen wat betreft duurzaamheid en stevigheid. Waar de xcover 4 & 5 redelijk compacte toestellen waren voelt de 7 aan als een reus, hij is dan ook geen lichtgewicht. En zijn stevigheid heeft hij al bewezen door al 2 incidenten zonder er ook maar iets aan over te houden. Batterij heeft voor mij ruim voldoende capaciteit om een hele dag plus avond door te komen. Zijn er minpunten? Ja, iets waar de eerdere xcover modellen ook wel last van hadden. Af en toe is het net als of het scherm een fractie van een seconde hangen blijft en de gevoeligheid van het touchscreen is soms onvoorspelbaar, van ongevoelig tot overgevoelig. Wat mij betreft is het een ideale allround telefoon voor een betaalbare prijs.

Half inch te groot om makkelijk kwijt te kunnen in kleding.
Als je van de xcover5 overstapt naar deze xcover7 moet je wel even slikken als je ziet hoeveel groter de 7 is dan de 5.

Snelle en stevige telefoon, maar voor het doel; robuuste telefoon voor de bouw, tuinbouw etc. en sporters, waren de kleinere voorgangers ( x cover 3, 4, 5) fijner door het kleinere formaat. Ik heb 5 jaar mijn xcover 4s gebruikt zonder enig probleem. Echter het beperkte geheugen (32gb) en het eindigen van de updates maakt dat ik op zoek ging naar een nieuwe. De xcover 7bevalt prima, de snelheid en camera zijn een stuk beter dan van de 4s. Alleen het grote formaat is echt een nadeel bij sporten en op de bouw. Hopelijk waait de mode van grote telefoons weer eens over. Ik heb een laptop en tablet thuis dus waarom ook onderweg zo'n halve tablet?
