Resetting your iPhone or iPad via iTunes

  1. Open iTunes on your computer.
  2. Connect your device to the computer using a compatible cable.
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone/iPad icon.
  4. Click Restore iPhone/iPad….
  5. If prompted, deactivate Find My iPhone by following the on-screen instructions.
